The Florida Boater Safety test is required by those who were born on or after Jan 1, 1988, in order to operate a personal watercraft (PWC) or vessel in the state of Florida. (This includes our Pontoons, Waverunners and CraigCats.) A temporary test (valid for 1 year) can be administered at our facility for $3.50. — Alternatively, permanent (Free!) Florida Boater Safety courses are administered at: http://www.boatus.org/florida/ If you are not a Florida resident, you can choose your appropriate state’s course from the following list: http://www.boatus.org/free/

The permanent courses take roughly 3 hours to complete and are more involved than our temporary 1-year tests, but have the advantage that they are good for life!
